Cold tetany
寒痉 〔寒痙〕 hán jìng
A disease described by Wú Jú-Tōng (1758–1836, Qīng) as tetany occurring in children suffering from wind-cold cough.
Medicinal therapy: Use
Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on LU, LI, and GV. Select BL-13 (Lung Transport, 肺俞 fèi shù), LU-7 (Broken Sequence, 列缺 liè quē), LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), BL-11 (Great Shuttle, 大杼 dà zhù), GV-16 (Wind Mansion, 风府 fēng fǔ), GV-20 (Hundred Convergences, 百会 bǎi huì), GV-26 (Water Trough, 水沟 shuǐ gōu), and GV-8 (Sinew Contraction, 筋缩 jīn suō). Needle with drainage and add moxa.
