Vacuity vexation

虚烦 〔虛煩〕xū fán

Heat vexation due to vacuity fire harassing the inner body. Vacuity vexation is a feeling of unease and listlessness in the heart, accompanied by a condition that seems like distension but is not, food failing to be appetizing, and unquiet sleep, It occurs in febrile disease, either in the latter stages or after sweating, ejection, or precipitation, when residual heat remains.

Medicinal therapy: Treat with Lophatherum Decoction (竹叶汤 zhú yè tāng) or Gardenia and Fermented Soybean Decoction (栀子豉汤 zhī zǐ chǐ tāng) and variations.
