True headache

Acute headache penetrating deep into the brain and reaching the vertex and accompanied by counterflow cold of the extremities up to the knees and elbows. A true headache is usually a critical sign and is attributed to evils (some say wind-cold) invading the brain.

Medicinal therapy: Use Galenite Elixir (黑锡丹 hēi xí dān) and large doses of Ginseng and Aconite Decoction (参附汤 shēn fù tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Either of the following methods can be used for emergency treatment of attacks:
