Taxation damage profuse menstruation

劳伤月经过多 〔勞傷月經過多〕láo shāng yuè jīng guò duō

Profuse menstruation (menorrhagia) occurring when taxation fatigue causes detriment to the thoroughfare (chōng) and controlling (rèn) vessels. Menstrual flow gradually increases and becomes persistent. It is dull and pale in color. Accompanying signs include withered-yellow facial complexion, physical fatigue and lack of strength, and in some cases sagging aching pain in the abdomen.

Medicinal therapy: Secure the thoroughfare (chōng) vessel and stanch bleeding with Thoroughfare-Quieting Decoction (安冲汤 ān chōng tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on CV, SP, and ST. Select CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi), SP-6 (Three Yīn Intersection, 三阴交 sān yīn jiāo), SP-1 (Hidden White, 隐白 yǐn bái), BL-20 (Spleen Transport, 脾俞 pí shù), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), and SP-3 (Supreme White, 太白 tài bái); needle with supplementation and add moxa.
