Summerheat-wind turning into fright
暑风成惊 〔暑風成驚〕 shǔ fēng chéng jīng
Excessively exuberant summerheat-damp in infants and children causing great vomiting and diarrhea, heat effusion and sweating from the brow, reversal cold of the limbs, and convulsions. It arises when spleen-stomach vacuity and major damage to original qì conspire with the evil to cause fright wind.
Medicinal therapy: Treat by boosting qì and fostering yīn supported by clearing summerheat and extinguishing wind.
