Malign obstruction

恶阻 〔惡阻〕è zǔ

Also pregnancy vomiting; aversion to food (2). A condition of aversion to food, nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, not considered untoward unless it severely affects food intake. Malign obstruction is the manifestation of impaired harmonious downbearing of stomach qì.

Etymology

Chinè, malign; zǔ, obstruction. The character 恶 read as means to hate, whereas read as ě it means nausea, disgust. The compound term is often explained as nausea or aversion to food causing an obstruction, the 恶 is pronounced è.
