Lung heat
肺热 〔肺熱〕fèi rè
Any pattern of lung heat. Signs include red facial complexion, cough with thick phlegm, chest pain, and, in severe cases, hasty breathing, or expectoration of blood. See warm evil invading the lung; heat damaging the network vessels of the lung; exuberant fire tormenting metal; exuberant lung-stomach heat.
