Warm evil invading the lung
温邪犯肺 〔溫邪犯肺〕wēn xié fàn fèi
Warm-externally contracted febrile disease characterized by cough, heat effusion, thirst, sometimes a sore swollen throat, a tongue that is red at the margins or tip, and a rapid floating pulse.
Biomedical correspondence: upper respiratory tract infection, acute bronchitis, or acute tonsillitis.
