Lower burner damp-heat

下焦湿热 〔下焦濕熱〕xià jiāo shī rè

Also damp-heat pouring down; downpour of damp-heat. A disease pattern arising when damp-heat pours down into the lower burner. Lower burner damp-heat includes large intestine damp-heat, which manifests in damp-heat dysentery and damp-heat diarrhea, and includes bladder damp-heat manifesting in strangury-turbidity and dribbling urinary block. In addition, lower burner damp-heat may take the form of pudendal itch, vaginal discharge, lower limb fire flow, foot qì sore, damp-heat seminal emission, and painful swelling of the lower limb joints.
