Large intestine cough

大肠咳 〔大腸咳〕 dà cháng ké

Cough occurring in bouts that cause involuntary loss of stool.

Medicinal therapy: Use Center-Supplementing Qì-Boosting Decoction (补中益气汤 bǔ zhōng yì qì tāng) minus cimicifuga (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 升麻 shēng má) and plus platycodon (Platycodonis Radix, 桔梗 jié gěng).
