Actions and indications:

Dosage and method: Oral: 3–6g in decoctions; also used externally.

Warnings: Use xiǎo huí xiāng with care in yīn vacuity with effulgent fire.

Quality: The best quality is dry, greenish yellow, and aromatic.

Production area: Mainly produced in Shānxī, Gānsū, Liáoníng, Inner Mongolia, but widely cultivated throughout the China.
