Magnolia Flower Lung-Clearing Decoction
辛夷清肺汤 〔辛夷清肺湯〕 xīn yí qīng fèi tāng

Ingredients
- Xīn yí (辛夷 Magnoliae Flos, magnolia flower1)
- Bǎi hé (百合 Lilii Bulbus, lily bulb)
- Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root])
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root])
- Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum)
- Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root])
- Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit])
- Pí pá yè (枇杷叶 Eriobotryae Folium, loquat leaf)
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
- Shēng má (升麻 Cimicifugae Rhizoma, cimicifuga [root])
Actions: Clears heat and disinhibits the orifices; disperses stagnation and moistens dryness.
Indications: Lung heat with nasal congestion and runny nose with clear snivel, or nasal polyps.
