Ingredients

• Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra) 30g
• Xìng rén (杏仁 Armeniacae Semen, apricot kernel) 30g
• Jú hóng (橘红 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum, red tangerine peel) 30g
• Dān shēn (丹参 Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, salvia [root]) 30g
• Chì fú líng (赤茯苓 Poria Rubra, red poria) 30g
• Sāng bái pí (桑白皮 Mori Cortex, mulberry bark) 30g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 15g

Actions: Disperses wind-cold; transforms phlegm and calms panting.

Indications: Wind-cold fettering the lung in patients suffering from phlegm, characterized by cough with copious phlegm and oppression in the chest.

Dosage: 9g at a time.
