• GB-1 瞳子髎 〔瞳子髎〕tóng zǐ liáo, Pupil Bone-Hole
  An acupoint located lateral to the eye, in the temporal fossa, on the posterior edge of the zygomatic bone, level with the outer canthus.

• GB-2 听会 〔聽會〕tīng huì, Auditory Convergence
  An acupoint located anterior to the ear, immediately anterior to the intertragic notch.

• GB-3 上关 〔上關〕shàng guān, Upper Gate
  An acupoint located anterior to the ear, on the superior border of the zygomatic arch, directly above ST-7.

• GB-4 颔厌 〔頷厭〕hàn yàn, Forehead Fullness
  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the head, slightly posterior to the temporal hairline, one quarter of the distance from ST-8 to GB-7 along a line connecting these two points.

• GB-5 悬颅 〔懸顱〕xuán lú, Suspended Skull
  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the head, slightly posterior to the temporal hairline, midway between ST-8 and GB-7 along a line connecting these two points.

• GB-6 悬厘 〔懸厘〕xuán lí, Suspended Tuft
  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the head, slightly posterior to the temporal hairline, three quarters of the distance from ST-8 (tóu wéi) to GB-7 (jiǎo sūn) along the line connecting these two points.

• GB-7 曲鬓 〔曲鬢〕qū bìn, Temporal Hairline Curve
  An acupoint located in the temporal region, at the intersection of a line drawn upward from the posterior margin of the preauricular hairline (i.e., the posterior margin of the sideburn) and a horizontal line drawn just above the top of the ear.

• GB-8 率谷 〔率谷〕shuài gǔ, Valley Lead
  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the head, about 1.5 cùn superior to the apex of the ear.

• GB-9 天冲 〔天衝〕tiān chōng, Celestial Hub
  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the head, at a level about 1.5 cùn superior to the apex of the ear, on the vertical line defined by the posterior margin of the auricle.

• GB-10 浮白 〔浮白〕fú bái, Floating White
  An acupoint located posterior to the ear, in the depression about one third of the distance from GB-9 (tiān chōng) to GB-12 (wán gǔ) on a line connecting these two points.

• GB-11 头窍阴 〔頭竅陰〕tóu qiào yīn, Head Orifice Yīn
  An acupoint located posterior to the ear, in the depression about two-thirds of the distance from GB-9 (tiān chōng) to GB-12 (wán gǔ) on a line connecting these two points.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the neck, just inferior to the posterior border of the mastoid process.

• GB-13 本神 〔本神〕běn shén, Root Spirit
  An acupoint located on the superolateral aspect of the head, 0.5 cùn within the anterior hairline, one third of the distance from ST-8 to the midline (i.e., GV-24).

• GB-14 阳白 〔陽白〕yáng bái, Yáng White
  An acupoint located on the forehead, 1 cùn above the midpoint of the eyebrow.

• GB-15 头临泣 〔頭臨泣〕tóu lín qì, Head Overlooking Tears
  An acupoint located on the superolateral aspect of the head, 0.5 cùn within the anterior hairline, straight above GB-14 (yáng bái), midway between GV-24 (shén tíng) and ST-8 (tóu wéi).

  An acupoint located on the superolateral aspect of the head, 2.0 cùn within the anterior hairline on the line connecting GB-15 (tóu lín qí) and GB-20 (fēng chí).

  An acupoint located on the superolateral aspect of the head, 3.5 cùn within the anterior hairline on the line connecting GB-15 (tóu lín qí) and GB-20 (fēng chí).

• GB-18 承灵 〔承靈〕chéng líng, Spirit Support
  An acupoint located on the superolateral aspect of the head, 5.0 cùn within the anterior hairline on the line connecting GB-15 (tóu lín qí) and GB-20 (fēng chí).

  An acupoint located on the back of the head, in a sizable depression lateral to the external occipital protuberance (eop), directly above GB-20 (fēng chí).

  An acupoint located on the posterior aspect of the neck, below the occipital bone, in the large depression between the trapezius and the sternocleidomastoid muscles.

  An acupoint located on the superior aspect of the shoulder, midway between the seventh cervical vertebra and the high point of the acromioclavicular articulation.

  An acupoint located on the chest, in the seventh intercostal space, as close to the midclavicular line as the costal cartilage will allow.

  An acupoint located on the lower back, at the inferior border of the tip of the twelfth rib.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the abdomen, straight below to the tip of the 11th rib (LR-13) at the level of the umbilicus.

  An acupoint located on the smaller abdomen, 3 cùn inferior to the level of the umbilicus, medially adjacent to the anterior superior iliac spine (asis).

  An acupoint located on the smaller abdomen, 0.5 cùn inferior and slightly medial to GB-27, at the inferior border of the anterior superior iliac spine (asis), or the top of the groin .

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the hip, in the body of the tensor fascia lata muscle, midway between the anterior superior iliac spine (asis) and the prominence of the greater trochanter.

  An acupoint located in the hollow of the buttocks, one third of the distance from the prominence of the greater trochanter to the sacrococcygeal joint.

  An acupoint located on the midline of the lateral aspect of the thigh, 7 cùn superior to the level of the popliteal crease, in the vastus lateralis muscle at the anterior edge of the iliotibial tract.

• GB-32 中渎 〔中瀆〕zhōng dú, Central River
  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the thigh, 5 cùn superior to the level of the popliteal crease, in the vastus lateralis muscle, between the posterior edge of the iliotibial tract and the biceps femoris muscle.

• GB-33 膝阳关 〔膝陽關〕xī yáng guān, Knee Yáng Joint
  An acupoint located on the lateral side of the knee, in the space that forms proximal to the lateral condyle of the tibia when the knee is bent about ninety degrees. the depression is superior to the biceps femoris tendon and inferior to the lateral condyle of the femur.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, in the depression immediately anterior and inferior to the head of the fibula.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, 7 cùn superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus, on the posterior edge of the peroneus longus muscle in the groove between the peroneus and the soleus muscles.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, 7 cùn superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus, on the anterior edge of the peroneus brevis muscle.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, 5 cùn superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus, on the anterior edge of the peroneus brevis muscle.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, 4 cùn superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus, on the anterior edge of the peroneus brevis muscle.

  An acupoint located on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, 3 cùn superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus, immediately posterior to the lateral crest of the fibula in the narrow space between the bone and the peroneus brevis tendon.

  An acupoint located anterior to the lateral malleolus, in the hollow on the lateral side of the extensor digitorum longus tendon.

• GB-41 足临泣 〔足臨泣〕zú lín qì, Foot Overlooking Tears
  An acupoint located on the dorsal aspect of the foot, between the fourth and fifth metatarsal bones, on the lateral (proximal) side of the extensor digitorum longus tendon that attaches to the little toe.

• GB-42 地五会 〔地五會〕dì wǔ huì, Earth Fivefold Convergence
  An acupoint located on the dorsal aspect of the foot, between the fourth and fifth metatarsal bones, on the medial (distal) side of the extensor digitorum tendon that attaches to the little toe.

• GB-43 侠溪 〔俠谿〕xiá xī, Pinched Ravine
  An acupoint located on the dorsal aspect of the foot, proximal to the margin of the web between the fourth and fifth toes, level with the metatarsophalangeal (mtp) articulation of the fourth toe.

• GB-44 足窍阴 〔足竅陰〕zú qiào yīn, Foot Orifice Yīn
  An acupoint located a little more than 1 fēn below the base of the nail on the lateral side of the fourth toe.
