Treats The flower treats distension and fullness in the chest and diaphragm, initial-stage dysphagia-occlusion (yē gé), cough and dizziness. The twig and leaf treat injury from knocks and falls and flat-abscesses (jū).*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g). Topical: Prepare as a paste.
