Actions and indications: The flower resolves depression and loosens the center, hastens delivery, sobers, clears the lung, clears the head and eyes, eliminates vexation and thirst. Treats The flower treats distension and fullness in the chest and diaphragm, initial-stage dysphagia-occlusion (yē gé), cough and dizziness. The twig and leaf treat injury from knocks and falls and flat-abscesses ().*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g). Topical: Prepare as a paste.
