Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter and sweet*; slightly cold*; nontoxic*.

Channel entry: Heart, lung, and stomach channels.*

Actions and indications: Clears heat, engenders liquid, disinhibits the throat. Treats heat evil damage to liquid; dry mouth and tongue; heart vexation and heart vexation, and lassitude of spirit; wind-fire toothache.
