Properties: Acrid; slightly warm; nontoxic*.

Channel entry: Stomach and spleen channels.

Actions and indications: Repels foulness, relieves pain, disperses damp-toxin, and precipitates qì. Treats lacquer sores; wind-damp toxin sores; leg qì (jiǎo qì); running piglet; cold pain in the heart [region] and abdomen.

Dosage and method: Topical: Decoct as a steam-wash or burn preserving nature, grind, and apply mixed.
