Properties: Acrid and bitter*; slightly warm*.

Actions and indications: Treats head sores; bald white scalp sores; scab (jiè) and wind lichen (xiǎn) with pain, itching, and watery discharge.*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g). Topical: Grind to a powder and sprinkle on the affected area.
