Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g). Topical: Apply crushed.

Product Description: This inflorescence comprises numerous small clustered buds, ocher in color, and covered with a dense pile. It varies in shape and size. The individual buds are club-shaped with a bell-shaped calyx, 3–6 mm long and about 1.5 mm in diameter. They have four fissures and their corolla is tubular. The whole inflorescence is soft and breaks easily to reveal a blackish interior.

Quality: Dense buds and a pronounced velvet texture are the marks of good quality.

Product Area: Húběi and Shǎnxī (Shaanxi).

Etymology: The name mì méng huā 密蒙花, literally dense flowers, reflects the thickness and abundance of the tiny flowers.
