Actions and indications: Dispels wind-damp; disperses welling-abscesses (yōng) and swellings. Treats wind-cold-damp impediment (fēng hán shī bì); swollen welling-abscesses (yōng zhǒng); incised wounds.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (1.5–3g) or use in pills or powders. Topical: Grind to a powder and use with medicinal plasters.
