Treats common cold; summerheat stroke; vomiting and diarrhea; dysentery; malarial disease; jaundice; wind-damp (rheumatism); painful swelling from injury from knocks and falls; welling-abscesses (yōng), sores, scab (jiè) and lichen (xiǎn).

Production area: Jiāngsū, Zhèjiāng, ānhuī, Jiāngxī, Fújiàn, Húnán, Guǎngxī, Guǎngdōng, Guìzhōu.
