Properties: Bland; balanced.

Actions and indications: Relieves cough and calms panting; tranquilizes; and abates heat (fever) (fever). Treats acute and chronic tracheitis; bronchitis; cough and panting; hasty rapid breathing; heat effusion, and vexation and agitation in children.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g).
