Properties: Acrid, sour, and bland; cold or cool.

Channel entry: Liver and yáng brightness (yáng míng) channels.

Actions and indications: Disperses wind; clears heat; courses the liver; disperses swelling. Treats wind-fire red eye; eye screens; mammary welling-abscesses (rǔ yōng); scrofula; swollen clove sores (dīng).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Apply crushed.
