Properties: Bitter and acrid^✽; balanced.^✽

Actions and indications: Eliminates wind-damp, quickens the blood, resolves toxin, settles fright and extinguishes wind; fights cancer.* Treats wind-damp lumbar and leg pain; child fright wind; enteritis; sores and boils; scrofula; tumors.*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g regular dose, 30g large dose) or steep in wine. Topical: Grind to a powder or decoct as a wash.
