Properties: Sweet and bitter; balanced.

Actions and indications: Clears the lung and drains fire; relieves cough and transforms phlegm. Treats cough; expectoration of blood; pulmonary welling-abscesses (fèi yōng); vaginal discharge; dizziness and headache.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g) or take as tea.
