Actions and indications: Clears heat; cools the blood; stanches bleeding. Treats vomiting of blood (blood ejection); bleeding from hemorrhoids; flooding and spotting; menstrual irregularities; dysentery.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (10–30g dried, 30–60g fresh).
