Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet; cool.

Actions and indications: Clears the lung; relieves cough; rectifies the blood; resolves toxin. Treats lung heat cough; vomiting of blood (blood ejection); nosebleed (nǜ xuè); bloody stool; injury from knocks and falls; sore-toxin; red eyes; gān accumulation.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g dried, 15–30g fresh), extract juice, or steep in wine. Topical: Apply crushed.
