Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet and bland; balanced.

Actions and indications: Nourishes yīn and clears heat; quiets the spirit and calms the orientation; dispels wind and eliminates dampness; stanches bleeding and relieves pain. Treats steaming bone tidal heat effusion; neurasthenia; wind-damp pain; mania and withdrawal; external injury.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (12–15g). Topical: Grind and sprinkle on the affected area.
