Indications:

Quickens the blood and regulates menstruation; disperses swelling and resolves toxin.

menstrual irregularities; menstrual pain; stasis swelling (bruises) due to injury from knocks and falls; toxin swelling of welling- and flat-abscesses (yōng jū) and sores; scrofula.

Dosage & Method:

Oral: Decoct (3–6g) or grind to a powder. Topical: Apply crushed.

Quality:

Half open buds with a fresh flavor are the best.
