Properties: Bitter and acrid; cold.
Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; disinhibits urine and moves stasis. Treats hepatitis; common cold; dysentery; strangury; mounting qì (shàn qì); sinew and bone pain; throat moth; toothache; nosebleed; yellow-water sores; injury from knocks and falls.
Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–30g). Topical: Apply crushed or grind to a powder and sprinkle on the affected area.
