Actions and indications: Clears heat; disinhibits urine; resolves toxin; disperses swelling. Treats urinary tract infection; red and white vaginal discharge; dysentery; swollen welling-abscesses (yōng zhǒng); injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g dried, 30–60g fresh) or crush and swallow with water. Topical: Apply crushed.
