Properties: Bitter and acrid*; slightly warm*; nontoxic*.

Actions and indications: Moves qì, breaks the blood, disperses stagnation. Treats concretions and gatherings; drum distension; food accumulations; jaundice; vomiting of blood (blood ejection).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–12g).
