Properties: Bitter; balanced.

Actions and indications: Cools the blood, disinhibits water, dispels wind, supplements vacuity. Treats vomiting of blood (blood ejection); expectoration of blood; water swelling; weakness; injury from knocks and falls; red swollen sores; itchy papules; scab (jiè) and lichen (xiǎn).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (30–60g).
