Properties: Acrid^✽; warm^✽; slightly toxic.^✽

Actions and indications: Expels wind and rectifies qì; quickens the blood and disperses stasis. Treats wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; dysentery; diarrhea; stomach pain; cough; dry blood consumption; injury from knocks and falls; toxin swelling of boils and sores.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–6g, root); Topical: Apply whole herb crushed.
