Actions and indications:
- Dispels wind and quickens the network vessels: Wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; hemiplegia; injury from knocks and falls.
- Disinhibits water and disperses swelling: Water swelling; inhibited urination.
- Frees the channels (menses) and promotes lactation: Amenorrhea; breast milk stoppage.
Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–6g); or calcine preserving nature and grind to powder. Topical: Calcine preserving nature, grind, and apply mixed.
Warnings: Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Production area: Jiāngsū, Zhèjiāng, Jiāngxī, Fújiàn, Guǎngdōng.
