Indications:
- Dispels wind and dampness: Wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì).
- Disperses stasis and relieves pain: injury from knocks and falls.
Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct 0.3–0.6g, steep in wine, use in pills and powders. Topical: Apply ground to a powder, decoct as a wash, or apply the fresh product crushed.
Warnings: Contraindicated in pregnancy or in weak patients. Do not take for extended periods.
Quality: Yellowish gray flowers with no extraneous matter are best.
Product Area: Mainly produced in Jiāngsū, Zhèjiāng, ānhuī, and Húnán.
