Properties: Sweet and sour; cold; slightly toxic.

Actions and indications: Brightens the eyes, eliminates eye screens, disinhibits the orifices. Treats clear-eye blindness; sparrow blindness (night blindness); eye screens; red sore swollen the eyes; wind stroke with deviated mouth; insensitivity of the arms; head wind; deafness.

Dosage and method: Topical: Water grind as an eye dab. Oral: Grind to a powder (0.3–0.9g).
