Properties: Acrid; warm; toxic.

Actions and indications: Disperses cold, relieves cough, calms panting, and relieves pain. Treats wind-cold cough; wheezing and panting; cold pain in the stomach; tooth decay pain; injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (0.9–3g) or use in pills and powders. Topical: Apply crushed or grind and apply mixed with wine.
