Burnt Pot Rice Pill
锅焦丸 〔鍋焦丸〕 guō jiāo wán

Ingredients
- Guō jiāo (锅焦 Ollae Oryzae Semen Ustum, burnt pot rice) (stir-fried until yellow) 1,500g
- Shén qū (神曲 Massa Medicata Fermentata , medicated leaven) 120g
- Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit]) (stir-fried) 60g
- Shān zhā (山楂 Crataegi Fructus, crataegus [fruit]) 120g
- Lián ròu (莲肉 Nelumbinis Semen, lotus seed) (steamed and core removed) 120g
- Jī nèi jīn (鸡内金 Galli Gigeriae Endothelium Corneum, gizzard lining) (stir-fried) 60g
Actions: Fortifies the spleen and disperses food.
Indications: Spleen vacuity and food stagnation. Especially suitable for children. this came from 中国药学大词典
Method: Blend with honey and rice flour, form into pills or small cakes, and stone-bake.
