Source: Wèi Shēng Bǎo Jiàn 卫生宝鉴

Ingredients

• Gān sōng (甘松 Nardostachydis Radix et Rhizoma, nardostachys [root]) 30g
• Fēng là (蜂蜡 Cera Flava , bee’s wax) 6g
• Rǔ xiāng (乳香 Olibanum , frankincense) 3g
• Mò yào (没药 Myrrha , myrrh) 3g
• Tóng lǜ (铜绿 Aeris Robigo, copper rust) 6g

Actions: Draws toxin and closes sores.

Indications: Shank sores.

Method: Grind the green copper rust to a powder and blend with oil. Melt the rosin and wax over a flame, and blend in the other ingredients, and form into cakes. Apply to sore. Change dressing every three days.
