Ingredients

• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 6g
• Tǔ fú líng (土茯苓 Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma, smooth greenbrier [root]) 6g
• Zé xiè (泽泻 Alismatis Rhizoma, alisma [tuber]) 9g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 6g
• Guì zhī (桂枝 Cinnamomi Ramulus, cinnamon twig) 3g
• Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 4.5g
• Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 3g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 4.5g

Actions: Boosts qì and disinhibits water; resolves summerheat.

Indications: Lingering summerheat characterized by heat effusion, heart vexation, and inhibited urination.

Method: Decoct with water.

Notes: This is a variant of Wǔ líng sǎn (五苓散 Poria Five Powder).
