Fish Poison Yam Toxin-Transforming Decoction
萆薢化毒汤 〔萆薢化毒湯〕bì xiè huà dú tāng

Ingredients:
- Bì xiè (萆薢 Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae seu Semptemlobae Rhizoma, fish poison yam)
- Dāng guī wěi (当归尾 Angelicae Sinensis Radicis Extremitas, Chinese angelica [root] tail)
- Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark])
- Niú xī (牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root])
- Fáng jǐ (防己 Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix, fangji [root])
- Mù guā (木瓜 Chaenomelis Fructus, chaenomeles [fruit])
- Yì yǐ rén (薏苡仁 Coicis Semen, coix [seed])
- Qín jiāo (秦艽 Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, large gentian [root])
Action:
Indication: External welling-abscess (yōng) of the lower body attributable to damp-heat and characterized by local swelling, redness, heat, and pain.
