Ingredients

• Bì xiè (萆薢 Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae seu Semptemlobae Rhizoma, fish poison yam)
• Dāng guī wěi (当归尾 Angelicae Sinensis Radicis Extremitas, Chinese angelica [root] tail)
• Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark])
• Huái niú xī (怀牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root])
• Fáng jǐ (防己 Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix, fangji [root])
• Mù guā (木瓜 Chaenomelis Fructus, chaenomeles [fruit])
• Yì yǐ rén (薏苡仁 Coicis Semen, coix [seed])
• Qín jiāo (秦艽 Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, large gentian [root])

Indications: External welling-abscess (yōng) of the lower body attributable to damp-heat and characterized by local swelling, redness, heat, and pain.

Method: Decoct with water.
