Ingredients

• Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia)
• Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root])
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica)
• Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root])
• Jiāng huáng (姜黄 Curcumae Longae Rhizoma, turmeric)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
• Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger)

Actions: Harmonizes provisioning and defense; dispels wind-damp.

Indications: Wind-cold-damp impediment (fēng hán shī bì) with hypertonicity of the nape and back, impeded physical movement, and periodic pain in the shoulder and arm.
