Ingredients

• Bǎi bù (百部 Stemonae Radix, stemona [root]) 0.3g
• Bái xiān pí (白鲜皮 Dictamni Cortex, dictamnus [bark]) 0.3g
• Hè shī (鹤虱 Carpesii Fructus, carpesium seed) 0.3g
• Bì má zǐ (蓖麻子 Ricini Semen, castor bean) 0.3g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 0.3g
• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 0.3g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 0. 3 gr
• Má yóu (麻油 Sesami Oleum, sesame oil) 240g
• Xióng huáng (雄黄 Realgar , realgar) 1 pinch

Indications: Oxhide lichen (xiǎn).

Method: Cook the first seven ingredients in the oil until shriveled. Strain, and continue to cook until the oil forms into a bead when dropped in water. Then add the yellow wax, and mix in the realgar.
