Source: Mì Zhǐ Fāng 秘旨方

Ingredients:

• Rén shēn (人参 Ginseng Radix, ginseng) 3g
• Zǎo rén (枣仁 Ziziphi Spinosi Semen, spiny jujube [kernel]) 3g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 3g
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 3g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 2.4g
• Jú hóng (橘红 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum, red tangerine peel) 2.4g
• Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 2.4g
• 五味 0.9g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 0.9g

Action:

Indication: Vacuity heat in the heart channel with fright palpitation and night crying.

Category:

Method: Grind to a powder, blend with ginger juice, and form into pills the size of euryale fruits.

Dosage: 1 pill at a time, taken with a decoction of shengjiang or bohe.
