Ingredients

• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 30g
• Huǒ má rén (火麻仁 Cannabis Fructus, cannabis fruit) 15g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 9g
• Táo rén (桃仁 Persicae Semen, peach kernel) 9g
• Zhǐ ké (qiào) (枳壳 Aurantii Fructus, bitter orange) 9g

Actions: Moistens the intestines and frees the stool.

Indications: Constipation due to large intestinal humor depletion in the aged and in those debilitated by illness or giving birth.

Method: Crush the taoren and maziren, grind the other agents finely, form into pills with honey.次服10克，1日服3次，開水或米飲送服；或以上藥各1/3量，水煎2次作2次服，1日服2劑，以便行為度。
