Yīn-Enriching Fire-Downbearing Decoction1
滋阴降火汤1 〔滋陰降火湯1〕 zī yīn jiàng huǒ tāng1

Ingredients
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 2.5g
- Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 2.5g
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 2.5g
- Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root]) 1.5g
- Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 1.5g
- Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 2.5g
- Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 3g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 2.5g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 1g
- Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube) 1g
Actions: Drains fire and enriches yīn.
Indications: Dry throat and spasmodic cough without phlegm.
Method: Decoct with water.
