Seven Qì Decoction4
七气汤4 〔七氣湯4〕 qī qì tāng4

Ingredients
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) (!!汤泡洗) 18g
- Guì xīn (桂心 Cinnamomi Cortex Rasus, shaved cinnamon bark) 7.5g
- Yán hú suǒ (延胡索 Corydalis Rhizoma, corydalis [rhizome]) (stir-fried and with skin
??? removed) 7.5g - Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 30g
- Rǔ xiāng (乳香 Olibanum , frankincense) 30g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 30g
Indications: Disease due to the seven affects with insufferable stabbing heart [region] and abdominal pain, or external contraction of wind, cold, and, and dampness causing pain.
Method: Grind to a coarse powder, and decoct with five large slices of
Dosage: 9g at a time decocted with three slices of fresh ginger before meals.
Notes: The seven qi
appear to refer to the seven affects (qī qíng).
