Source: Jīn Guì Yào Lüè 金匮要略

Ingredients:

• Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra) 6g
• Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum) 8g
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 1g
• Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube) 4g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 2g
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 8g

Action:

Indication: Qì ascent with cough and panting including asthma and acute bronchitis.
