Ingredients:

• Shí jué míng (石决明 Haliotidis Concha, abalone shell)
• Tù sī zǐ (菟丝子 Cuscutae Semen, cuscuta [seed])
• Wǔ wèi zǐ (五味子 Schisandrae Fructus, schisandra [berry])
• Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum)
• Shān yào (山药 Dioscoreae Rhizoma, dioscorea [root])
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root])
• Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root])

Action: Enriches yīn and clears fire.

Indication: Crab's eye that has started to heal. Crab's eye, corresponding to iridoptosis, is a bead-like formation resembling a crab's eye that emerges from the center of an erosive screen covering the dark of the eye. It is attributed accumulated heat in the liver surging upward to the eye. In the initial stages, it can be treated with longdanxiegantang.
